Annual Benefit READ 718 Reads! Giving Tuesday

Thank you to everyone who donated for Giving Tuesday 2023!

For the past six years, READ 718 has participated in GivingTuesday, the global day of giving. With help from Brooklyn Gives on Giving Tuesday, the Brooklyn nonprofit fundraising tool powered by Brooklyn Org, and with so many dedicated donors and peer-to-peer fundraisers, READ 718 continues to expand our programming and bring the love of literacy to Brooklyn children and their families.

This year, we raised $118,00 thanks to over 900 donors and smashed our $100k goal! This was over 40% more than than we raised in 2022, and was our most successful GivingTuesday campaign to date!

Special thanks to our peer-to peer fundraisers. Our P2P team is responsible for most of our total dollars raised. Thank you to all of our supporters for showing up!
